Location
Blaine’s House is a 2,700 square foot, 17-bed men’s home located near “The Village” area of Victorville. The home is conveniently located near bus stops and shopping centers. Specifically, a bus stop for line 32(Purple Line) is 0.3 miles from the home. Stater Bros. and Winco Foods are less than 2 miles from the house. All of the shopping centers on Roy Rogers at the 15 freeway are within 3 miles of the home (these include businesses such as the Home Depot, Costco, Walgreens, Food 4 Less, Supercuts, Wells Fargo, and restaurants such as In-N-Out, Domino’s, Wendy’s, Mcdonald’s, Raising Cane’s, Subway, and others).
Amenities
Blaine’s house offers a structured, sober, shared livig environment that fosters a supportive recovery community. We prioritize your comfort so that you can focus on your sobriety. With that goal in mind, we offer the following amenities:
- Each guest has their own bed, designated dresser drawers and closet space for personal belongings, and designated space in the kitchen pantry and refrigerator for their food
- Each guest is provided their own medication lock box to keep their information private
- Fee-free washing machine and dryer
- Linens provided (bed sheets, pillow, and towels)
- Paper goods provided (toilet paper and paper towels)
- Toiletries available for indigent guests
- Dish and laundry soap provided
- Basic cleaning supplies provided
- Newly remodeled kitchen furnished with common cooking and eating utensils and tools
- Wi-Fi
- Desk with computer and printer
- Phone line for making outgoing calls
- Television with streaming services such as Amazon Prime and ESPN
- Small library with a varied selection of books
- Outdoor smoking/vaping patio
We are also familiar with local resources to help you find anything you may need (doctor, dentist, health insurance, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, food pantries, etc.)
